Car Organization & Car Interior Protection with Neat Parents REVERSIBLE Kick Mat!
We just bought a new van. It was not “new” new but it was definitely NEW to us and in very good shape. My kids all but destroyed our other car with their food and dirty shoes so I knew I had to do something to to keep this van in pristine condition as long as possible. Young kids can really put any car through the ringer. You can say “I will never let my kids eat in the car”… Okay, sure but when you have been in the car for hour and they are screaming for a snack you better believe you will throw anything their way that will shut them up for just even a second!

I recently discovered this REVERSIBLE (gray on one side and black on the other) Kick Mat from Neat Parents and I knew I had to have it. Since Rhory is forward facing she is PERFECT distance from the drivers seat to use it as a kicking mat even when she is not thinking about it. The best thing about this kick mat is that it is easily wiped clean from her dirty shoes. An added bonus- POCKETS! If you have young children you know that the car is somewhat of a dreaded place of never-never land for toys and pacis. Rhory does not use a paci but Bubby does and I love being able to slip one in the pockets and easily access it when he chunks one across the van – this happens REGULARLY!
It is hard to tell but BOTH the gray and the black sides have three pockets. You can see below that the three pockets are perfect for diapers, wipes AND toys!
Rhory’s feet reach just under the pockets so she can’t really mess with the stuff I have stored and it is easy access when I need it! Also, the installation is SUPER easy and does not interfere with the comfort of whoever is in the driver seat. There is a buckle at the top that slides off to the side of the headrest and the bottom has two velcro pieces that fit down in the the crease of the seat.
