Love & Death in Paris ’97
I do not have much time to read books lately, BUT when I find a book I just cannot put down – I have to finish it and share how much I love it! I did receive compensation in return for my honest review and promotion of Love & Death in Paris ’97 but all opinions are my own and I would not share so positively about the book if I did not love it myself. Love & Death in Paris ’97
The book story line focuses on a simple man named Daniel. He moves to Paris after the death of his wife and child. The time is 1997 and right in the midst of the drama surrounding Princess Diana, her divorce, and unfortunately her death. Eric Hamilton does a fantastic job with his words that allow you, the reader, to paint a clear picture of what is going on page by page. I have never been to Paris but I was clearly able to visualize what was going on at every turn!
There are several plot twists throughout the story that had me eager for more. Daniel falls in love with a wild, and I mean WILD, woman that takes him on crazy rampages throughout the city. All the while, another random encounter has led him to another friendship with a woman named Joy. I found myself rooting for Joy through the whole story, especially while he was gallivanting through the city. The most intriguing part of the story is that Daniel is witness to the fatal crash that takes Diana’s life. He tries to share his knowledge but his other peers and colleagues seem to think there are several cover ups and conspiracy theories. I won’t say more because I do not want to give it all away! Check out the website all about the books and be sure to download yours today! It is available on the Kindle which was *super* convenient because I could read on my Kindle Fire at night and my phone during the day when I forgot it at home. I cannot recommend this book enough – love, loss, excitement, exploration, etc – you will not be disappointed and will not be able to put it down!
About The Author
The author of Love & Death in Paris ’97 is Eric Hamilton (a pen name). Visiting his website will give you more information about him but I wanted to share some here! Eric became a teacher early on in life and I love that, especially since I am a teacher myself. He says that he really wanted to get his students to see the beauty in words so he started writing. After falling in love with the Hardy Boys series, he became a mystery writer. He has several mysteries – Murder on the Canadian, Vancouver Nightmare, and The Case of the Golden Boy – just to name a few! Currently he has 22 mysteries in all and decided to pursue a novel about Princess Diana because of his admiration of her life. I took him four, yes FOUR, years to research and talk with his wife, sister, and editor to help make sure the story was as accurate and intriguing as possible! Here he is pictured with his wife, Flo.
