Cooking is one of my passions and actually a pretty big reason I decided to venture out in to the blogger world. I was constantly posting my meal plans on Facebook and people were always asking for recipes so I figured what better way to share them than a blog/website? I love finding meals that my family will actually enjoy but also expose us to new foods that we wouldn’t usually think about eating. Sometimes they fail, but a lot of the times they are GREAT! My meal plans started out as weekly, but as time has gone on I have found ways to create monthly meal plans with a variety of meal ideas that don’t break the bank. This is crucial for my family – we try to keep to a budget and I was tired of blowing the grocery budget out of the water EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. I am also a working mom so, with both my husband and I working, we need recipes that are semi easy to put together due to limited time between getting home and wanting dinner!

One thing you will notice about my recipes is that I generally won’t include a whole lot of step-by-step pictures spread throughout the post. As I was researching and gearing up to kick off this site I realized that I got so frustrated with the recipes that had me scrolling FOREVER. Sure, I love to see the step by step with pictures but show me the recipe FIRST please! As I am kicking things off pictures might be limited – but hang around – I promise the pictures will come, under the recipe of course!

Have you heard of the Instant Pot? If not, you are MISSING out! It is a revolutionary electric pressure cooker that will change the way you think and feel about cooking. I can make mashed potatoes in 6 minutes, frozen chicken in 20, and a roast in 45 minutes. I detail more about it under Product Reviews! I also feature a lot of recipes that can be cooked in the oven OR the pressure cooker so occasionally you will see two different sets of cooking instructions.

Have any recipes you want to see me try? Leave a comment and I will be more than happy to be the guinea pig for you!

Here is to some *clawsome* cooking!
