Rescue Cat Tuesday
Each and every Tuesday I will post a new rescue cat that is available through the rescue my mom volunteers through – Planned Pethood! Planned Pethood has helped thousands of cats from being put down at local shelters and also from an untimely death if they continue free roaming the Earth. They have a TNR program where they trap, spay/neuter and then re-release feral cats back in to their “home”, but they also find new homes for domesticated cats/kittens who would not survive out in the WILD outdoors. Adoptions are held around the Gwinnett area on the weekends but most of the cats are actually fostered in the volunteers homes and can be adopted out at any time! The great thing about these cats being in someone’s home is that the foster KNOWS the cat – what they like/don’t like – and can therefore place them with the best family.
This weeks FEATURED CAT:
Age: 1-1/2 Years
Billie is a sweet girl who has been with Planned Pethood for about a year. She is itching to find her furever home! Billie is looking for a home where she can be queen bee – meaning she needs to be the only cat. She is playful and would love a home where she could run and stretch her legs but also get nice and cozy because she loves to cuddle up next to you! If you are looking for the perfect cat to add to your family – look no more, Billie would be purrfect 🙂
