Did you love ramen noodles growing up like I did? I was obsessed with them even though I know they are like the least healthy option that I should be eating! I ran across a recipe that partnered them with beef and stir fry so I figured I would test them out again. This is sure to be a hit with your whole family – my kids loved it. I actually made this a few days prior to eating it and just froze it. It did not take long to thaw and Rhory kept calling it “pasta”!




Asian Beef & Noodles

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
2 packages Oriental ramen noodles, crumbled (I accidentally used chicken flavored but it was good!)
2-1/2 cups water
2 cups stir fry starter
1/4 t ground ginger
optional: green onion



Directions

  1. Cook beef in skillet until brown. Add contents of one flavoring pack.
  2. While beef is cooking, crush BOTH packages ramen noodles and cook in microwave (follow package directions). Drain water and add other flavoring pack.
  3. Cook stir fry starter in the microwave OR on the stove top.
  4. Combine all ingredients and ginger. Stir well.
  5. DONE!
  6. Enjoy 🙂

We accidentally used the Chicken flavored ramen noodles but honestly it turned out okay! I tasted it the night I first made it and definitely recommend eating it on the day it is cooked. It freezes and heats up well but I just liked it better the first day it was made. I try to make a lot of meals before the meat goes bad (we buy all of our meat in bulk)!
